Whether you’re a nervous beginner or an experienced rider, Bluey gives each rider the same quiet confidence. He’s proven himself to be a safe, dependable mount, even carrying a lady who was 36 weeks pregnant on the trails and taking care of her every step of the way. He doesn’t blink at the crack of a bullwhip, and he’s so gentle that he’ll let dogs hop up for a ride. Yet for all his trail toughness, it’s his sweet, affectionate personality that truly makes him unforgettable. Bluey genuinely loves people. He stands quietly for grooming, gives the sweetest pony rides to little kids, and soaks up every bit of attention and neck scratches you offer. He’s respectful, easy to catch, and wonderfully well-mannered. He stands politely for the farrier, loads and hauls like a dream, hobbles without issue, and patiently waits untied while being saddled and bridled. He is the good ole boy every horseman dreams of. He is kind, consistent, and completely reliable day after day, even after time off. No prep, no lunging, no surprises. Just a horse with incredible brains, a strong build, extensive training, endless trail miles, and a heart so genuine it can’t be taught. Bluey is naturally quiet, thoughtful, and always tuned in to his rider, matching your energy whether you need a confidence-building partner or a steady, comfortable mount for long days in the saddle. His kindness runs deeper than the trails. He’s incredibly patient and sweet with children, lowering his head so they can reach him, letting them groom and lead him with the gentlest demeanor, and standing quietly for hours just to be near his family. Type your paragraph here.Dunker is truly a one-of-a-kind animal! Check out this loud colored buckskin gelding standing 15.2 hands tall. Dunker was foaled on 7/24/2022 and is registered in the Walkaloosa Horse Association. Dunker was foaled by a good friend in Illinois and is sired by the TWHBEA stallion Gold Edition’s Dusty by Generator’s Gold Edition by Gold Generator and out of a foundation bred appaloosa mare.

We brought Dunker home when he was just 6 months old and this beautiful boy has been with us his entire life. We have been privileged to be his only owner outside of his breeder. In the 4 years Dunker has been with us, he has been able to learn and grow in a professional training environment receiving age-appropriate training through every stage! Horses with his uniqueness and this level of foundation and professional training are not offered frequently as they take years to make! Dunker is gentle and easy to handle and is usually waiting at the gate for you to catch him. He stands tied perfectly, stands to all grooming, farrier work, bathing, clipping, tacking, and even drops his head on command for taking a bit and putting on the bridle or taking it off. Dunker has had countless hours of groundwork over the years excelling in the Clinton Anderson method. He can complete all tasks in the Fundamental, Intermediate, and Advanced exercises giving his next owner a solid foundation to rely on! Dunker stands for mounting, will side pass over to objects to pick up his rider, and will even lay down for mounting! Dunker will walk out calmly on a loose rein with a relaxing flat foot walk, has the best movement and head shake in a running walk that I have yet to see in a Walkaloosa, has the most amazing canter, and a huge sliding stop. Dunker neck reins or direct reins, works amazingly well off the riders leg, will side pass, yield his fore quarters and hind quarters, is started spinning, picks up his correct leads every time, lopes perfect circles, is started on flying lead changes, backs, and will ride with just a war bridle!

Out on the trail, you will not find a better young horse in the rough country. I think he is literally half billy goat! He is the most sure-footed horse ever, he pays great attention to where he places his feet, and is amazing at using his whole body through the steep terrain. He is already experienced on the trail leading, riding in the middle, and at the end of the pack when riding with a group or will ride out alone. He crosses water, down timber, ditches/ravines, and will climb up or down anything you point him at! He is great at loading, hauling, and unloading. Dunker is also use to riding down the gravel and county roads. He is traffic safe, is use to 4 wheelers and UTVs, and being ridden around other types of farm machinery.  Dunker has been around our ranch checking/fixing fences, working cattle, moving cow/calf pairs, and ponying young horses as well. He has been through desensitization lessons his entire life with all kinds of things that could possibly be scary such as balls, tarps, plastic bags, flags, inflatable tube men, leaf blowers… you name it!

I have enjoyed every part of owning and training this amazingly unique animal and am excited to be able to offer him to the public! If you are looking for an exceptional young gelding that will undoubtedly get you noticed no matter where you go, Dunker is one you should come spend some time with! He has an amazing foundation to set him up for a lifetime of success!

FONZY

Fonzy is a very pretty, uniquely colored, sorrel and white spotted, unregistered TWH gelding. Fonzy was foaled in the late summer of 2022 and will be turning 4 years old this year. This young man has really been growing up and is currently standing a solid 15.3 hands tall and as this fella continues to mature and start filling out, he is really going to make someone a BIG, solid mount.

Fonzy was not one of our horses we had anticipated on selling this year, however one of our planned horses came up with an injury and instead of rushing that situation, we decided that Fonzy would make a perfect replacement to be offered! Fonzy has the most amazing personality you could ever ask for on a young gelding and is safe enough for nearly any level rider. He is extremely gentle, loves affection, is easy to handle, and very easy to catch. Fonzy has an amazing start to his riding career and has been brought along slowly and not rushed. He stands tied, stands great for the farrier, tacking, grooming, bathing, clipping, and mounting. He is the kind of young gelding that has a calm demeanor and is always trying to please his rider which has made training with him really rather simple. Fonzy will walk off calmly and relaxed on a loose rein, will collect up nicely, has a good headset, an amazingly smooth walk and running walk, and will really nod his head with rhythm and get to flopping his ears! Fonzy has even started cantering and while he is still learning some technicalities with body mechanics, he is doing amazing with it! I want to brag on Fonzy’s gait for just a moment as he already stays very consistent, stays square, and has a gait you can ride all day without any feeling of discomfort. Fonzy has also already started neck reining, has a great stop, backs, and is side passing! All the typical things we teach all the horses that go through our training program. Fonzy is currently learning to side pass over to obstacles to pick up his rider for easy mounting on the trails and has been through endless hours of desensitization with all kinds of things that could possibly be scary such as balls, tarps, plastic bags, flags, inflatable tube men, leaf blowers, etc. Fonzy has even been exposed to intentional gun fire making him a great field trial/hunting prospect.

Fonzy has experience navigating trails and is so willing, he will go wherever you ask him, navigates steep grades, does not hesitate at crossing water, goes over down timber, follows the trails well, and does a good job watching his foot placement when the trails get tricky. He is also use to riding down the gravel and county roads, is 100% traffic safe, is use to riding around 4 wheelers, UTVs, and various types of farm machinery. While out riding, Fonzy will ride out alone or with a group. When in a group, he does not mind if he is in the front, middle, or the back of the pack. He does mind packing saddle bags and will also ride bareback without any concern. We have even begun using him around our ranch checking/fixing fences, moving/pushing cattle, and checking heifers.

If you are looking for a young gelding with size that will mature into a big horse, be sure to check out Fonzy. He has such a good mind, willing attitude, and natural talent paired with a solid foundation to set him up for a successful riding career. Fonzy will make a top field trial prospect, trail riding mount, or mountain horse, but is classy enough to even hit the weekend horse shows!

Meet Thumper! The ultimate gaited pony that is absolutely one in a million! There is no question, you will never find another one like him! He is the complete package: gentle, honest, beautifully gaited, and packed into a sturdy little frame that rides far bigger than his size. Thumper is a 5-year-old Missouri Fox Trotter pony gelding standing 13 hands tall that comes from true registered Missouri Fox Trotter bloodlines. Built with excellent conformation and plenty of substance, he has the look and feel of a little horse instead of a typical pony. We purchased Thumper directly from his breeder and have proudly owned him for the last two years, where he has become a favorite in our program. Thumper has a personality that makes everyone fall in love with him. He absolutely adores children and thrives on attention. Around our barn, the kids are constantly arguing over whose turn it is to ride him. He is patient, kind, and dependable, the type of pony parents can feel confident putting their children on. He has spent countless miles on the trails carrying kids safely and happily, and he takes care of them every step of the way. He has been trained just like our big horses and has gone through our full program, learning softness, responsiveness, ranch work, trail obstacles, and more. Thumper has an exceptionally smooth, natural gait that makes riding comfortable and enjoyable for children, and he transitions easily into a nice lope on both leads. He neck reins, responds to leg pressure, backs up willingly, and will even side pass to the mounting block for your little one to get on, standing perfectly still for mounting and dismounting. Out on the trail, Thumper is confident and steady. He crosses water, logs, ditches, and rough terrain confidently. He is quiet in groups, comfortable riding alone, and easily keeps up with the big horses all day long. Dogs, cattle, traffic, flags, gunfire, and bullwhips do not bother him. He stays level-headed and willing no matter what is asked of him. Around the barn, Thumper is just as enjoyable. He is easy to catch anywhere, follows you around like a puppy, stands tied quietly for hours, and is hobble broke. He stands well for the farrier, bathing, grooming, saddling, and bridling, always lowering his head willingly for the bridle. He has absolutely no meanness or pony attitude. He is kind, respectful, and truly enjoys being around people. Thumper is also full of fun personality. He can be ridden bareback, knows how to lay down, and will even drag the kids around on a sled for hours of fun. He is the kind of pony that builds confidence, teaches children to love riding, and creates memories they will never forget. Safe, trustworthy, smooth, and gentle every single day, Thumper is truly a one-in-a-million family pony.Type your paragraph here.

GELDING
2020
Palomino
Missouri Fox Trotter
REGISTRATION # - 20-104420

W2 Horses is proud to offer Calcutta’s Divine Intervention, affectionately known as Cal, a drop-dead, GORGEOUS, majestic, and athletic 6-year-old registered Missouri Fox Trotter gelding that stands 15.2 hh. Cal is the kind that stops you in your tracks! He checks all the boxes with his beautiful, dark golden color, exquisite stout conformation, and extensive list of talents and skills. We have owned Cal for two years, and in that time, he has steadily blossomed into a well-rounded, dependable, and incredibly versatile partner. He’s been exposed to just about everything we could throw his way, from extreme trail riding and mounted shooting to bridleless riding, tricks, and so much more. From the beginning, he was brought along the right way, and it shows in everything he does. He’s confident in his foundation and carries that into every ride. He’ll stand quietly and patiently for mounting from either side, and with just a cue, he’ll side pass right up to the mounting block to meet you. He rides one-handed with a soft, easy neck rein, moves willingly off your legs, backs with light pressure, and stops off your seat with a simple “whoa.” There’s a natural feel to him that makes everything come easy, like he’s reading your mind and already knows what you’re asking. His running walk is ground-covering and comfortable, his gait is naturally smooth and easy to sit all day, and his lope is as smooth as they come, balanced, collected, and will pick up both leads with clean, easy transitions. The kind of smooth that you simply can’t mess up, no matter the skill level of the rider. Cal shines on the trails. He’s seasoned, steady, and dependable, the kind you can trust to take care of you no matter where you point him. Whether it’s steep mountain trails, thick brush, rocky descents, or rugged high-country terrain, he navigates it all with careful foot placement, confidence, and a level head. He has the strength and stamina to pack your gear up the mountain all day long and still stay fresh and willing. He is always ready to go where you ask without hesitation, and he does it in a way that keeps you relaxed, comfortable, and wanting to stay in the saddle just a little longer. He’s been around it all from water, bridges, cattle, dogs, bullwhips, gunfire, traffic, wagons, and wildlife. You name it, he’s done it. He is absolutely exceptional around gunfire; you can shoot a shotgun off his back, and he will stand there like it’s nothing, never offering a flinch. The same goes for loud, popping bullwhips, he handles it with complete composure and confidence, making him as reliable as they come in any situation. If there’s a job to be done, he’s the kind who steps up and is ready to do it. He’s also got a fun side that makes him stand out even more. Cal knows how to lay down on command, whether you’re on the ground or in the saddle, adding an extra level of connection and trust between horse and rider. He’ll drag whatever you dally to the horn and handle it with ease, showing both his willingness and capability. We have even used him to rope and doctor a few calves. There’s a lot of heart in this horse, and he gives it every time you swing a leg over him. He can also be ridden bareback and bridleless, which is a true testament to just how in tune he is with his rider and how honest he is in everything he does. Cal is a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He’s easy to catch and enjoys being around people. He stands quietly and respectfully for the farrier, grooming, and bathing, and he’s patient from start to finish while you’re tacking up. He genuinely enjoys the attention and never turns down a good treat. He loads, unloads, and travels well, making him an easy choice whether you’re heading out for a weekend trip or hauling across the country. Cal is the kind you grow attached to quickly. There’s just something about him, the way he meets you at the gate, the way he carries himself, the way he takes care of his rider that pulls you in. He’s kind, respectful, and easy to be around, with a quiet confidence that carries through everything he does. He’s flashy enough to catch anyone’s eye, yet solid and dependable enough to be someone’s go-to, everyday partner. I really love this horse. He truly wants to please, and I know he’ll bring someone a lifetime of happiness while looking absolutely gorgeous doing it. He is as good as it gets. You will not find a better trained, more fun, or prettier horse anywhere. He’s that once-in-a-lifetime kind of horse you spend years searching for, the kind that makes every ride better, whether you’re trail riding, camping, working cattle, or just soaking up quiet time together. Trigger’s Dixie

Dixie is a stunning, dapple palomino mare that stands 14.3 hands tall. She is registered in the TWHBEA and is sired by The Diamond Trip by Trip My Trigger by One Gold Moment by Simoleons Snow Flake and out of the mare Lady Carlton by WGC He’s Puttin On The Ritz by A Comand Performance by Pride of Midnight HF. This beautiful girl has an awesome walking horse pedigree packed with several champions! To see her full pedigree, please visit https://beta.allbreedpedigree.com/triggers-dixie-AhLvJz3Q/pedigree

We had not planned on advertising Dixie as available for this year’s group of horses, however due to some unforeseen circumstances with a planned horse, we were in a position to fill his spot. Dixie was the one that we thought was best suited to fill that need! By auction time, Dixie will have a solid 70 days of polishing in our training program and will be ready for her next owner to enjoy! Dixie is an extremely personable, sweet natured mare that really loves attention. She is gentle, is easy to handle, and easy to catch. Dixie will stand tied, stands for the farrier, grooming, bathing, clipping, and mounting. She also has a slew of tricks to aid in mounting for her rider. She will side pass to various obstacles, she will park out, or she will even lay down for mounting and dismounting! Dixie will walk off relaxed on a loose rein, will ride collected and has a beautiful headshaking, rhythmic walk and running walk, and will canter. She will pick up her leads and lope circles, has a great stop, and backs nicely. She has an excellent neck rein or will direct rein as well and is even broke well enough to ride without a bridle. Dixie will also ride bareback, double, pack saddle bags, and side pass. Dixie has tons of experience out on the trails, crosses water, down timber, ditches/ravines, and handles the steep terrain well. She really does well watching her foot placement when the trails get rough. She has been trailered to multiple states where she has been on camping trips and trail rides. Out on the trail she doesn't mind being the lead horse, riding in the middle, or bringing up the rear. She will also ride down the gravel roads and will ride out alone or in a group. She is doing great being used around our ranch checking/fixing fences, moving/pushing cattle, and checking heifers. She is also getting well acclimated to traffic, UTVs, 4 wheelers, and various types of farming machinery. Dixie has been through multiple sessions of desensitization with all kinds of things that could possibly be scary such as balls, tarps, plastic bags, flags, inflatable tube men, leaf blowers, helping her to be as safe as possible for her rider!

If you are looking for a true dream horse that truly has it all from beauty to brains, Dixie is the one! With her level of training paired with her experience and seasoning out on the trails, she will make an amazing trail partner for years to come.
