BIDDER TYPE                        REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Online Bidders                         Must register and be approved through Gold Buckle Horse Sales prior to bidding.
In-Person                                 Bidders Must register with Heny Auctions at the sale office located on the sale grounds prior to bidding.
Identification Required.            Valid Driver's License or Government-issued ID required for all bidders.

BUYER CHARGES
Charge Amount.                       Credit/Debit Card Convenience Fee 4% of transaction total
Post-Sale Stall Fee                   * $25 per night, per horse

Post-Sale Feed / Shavings.      * $12 per / bale hay  - $12 per bag shavings

*Applies only if a horse remains on the grounds after the sale and prior arrangements have been made with Heny Auctions.​

Online Buyer Fees  --------------------------- Online bidders are responsible for all buyer fees and charges established by Gold Buckle Horse Sales.
Credit/Debit Card Payments --------------- A 4% convenience fee applies to all credit and debit card transactions, whether bidding in person or online.
Payment Collection -------------------------- Following the sale, Heny Auctions will contact all successful online bidders to collect payment by phone.
Buyer Availability ----------------------------- Winning online bidders must be available following the sale to complete payment arrangements.
Transportation --------------------------------- Buyers are solely responsible for arranging and paying for transportation of purchased horses or mules.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 


  • No early sales.
  • Horses and mules will sell in catalog order.
  • Buyers are responsible for the care of purchased animals until they are removed from the sale grounds.
  • Any horse remaining on the grounds after the sale must have prior approval from Heny Auctions and will be subject to applicable stall fees.
  • All announcements made from the auction block take precedence over printed material.

  • Buyers are encouraged to personally inspect all horses prior to bidding. Neither Heny Auction nor Gold Buckle Horse Sale make any guarantees regarding soundness, health, disposition, breeding, training level, or suitability for any particular purpose.

  • All sales are final. No refunds, chargebacks, or cancellations will be permitted.

  • Risk and responsibility for each horse transfers to the buyer immediately upon the fall of the hammer/sold announcement, including horses purchased online or by phone.


  • All horses must be removed within the designated pickup timeframe unless other arrangements have been approved.

  • A valid credit card is required to register for online bidding. Heny Auction and Gold Buckle Horse Sale reserve the right to charge the card on file for unpaid balances, applicable fees, and collection-related expenses if payment terms are not met.

  • Heny Auction and Gold Buckle Horse Sale are not responsible for internet interruptions, bidding delays, technology failures, or missed online bids.

  • By registering to bid, all bidders acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.

Consignor Information

  • Consignment fee must accompany the consignment form.
  • Original negative Coggins test (within 6 months) is required.
  • Current health certificate is required.
  • Consignors are typically paid within 10 banking days following the sale.
  • Only consigned horses and mules are allowed on the sale grounds.
  • Horses and mules sold privately on the sale grounds within 48 hours of the sale are subject to sale commissions and rules. Type your paragraph here.

****IMPORTANT INFO FOR BUYERS PRIOR TO SALE****

PAYMENT PREPERATION 

  • All bidders planning to pay by personal check must obtain a current Letter of Credit from their financial institution prior to the sale.
  • All bidders should contact their bank and/or credit card company no later than the Thursday before the sale to:

  • Obtain any required Letter of Credit for check payments.
  • Ensure sufficient funds are available.
  • Remove or increase any spending, purchase, withdrawal, or transaction limits that may prevent payment.
  • Verify that large transactions will be approved on sale day.


Because the sale is held on a Saturday, financial institutions may not be available to resolve payment issues. Buyers are responsible for making all payment arrangements in advance to ensure a smooth checkout process.
